The Ark — a private hillside villa in Panchgani at dusk

APIA

Spaces that honour life — designed from the ground up, never from a template down.

A full-spectrum studio — from concept to completion

We don't design spaces. We shape the lives lived within them.

APIA Studio Lab unites large-scale architectural thinking with an intuitive feel for material, light and detail. Every project begins with the site — its history, climate, orientation and the people it belongs to.

PhilosophyThe three convictions
01
Place

Contextual design

Every project begins with the site — its history, climate, orientation and the community it belongs to. We design from the ground up, responding to context rather than imposing on it.

02
Material

Honest craftsmanship

We believe in honest materials: stone that weathers, wood that ages, surfaces that carry the memory of making. Craft and detail are never incidental — they are the work.

03
Experience

Life-centric spaces

A room is not a picture. We design for movement, sequence, light, and the quiet pleasure of a space that simply feels right to be in.

The Studio

What we do

One studio, every layer of creation. From initial feasibility, through architectural detailing, to the final furnishing — we manage the entire arc of a project, so nothing is lost in translation.

Selected Work

Proof, built.

Across hillside homes, high-rise residences and corporate headquarters — every project a dialogue between built form and the life it holds.

The Ark

Panchgani, Maharashtra

Carved into the hillside, The Ark commands 180° views of the Sahyadri valleys. The structure descends across four staggered levels — each terrace a dialogue between built form and the topography beneath it.
